Can't Put This One Down
Take a listen to Brooke Waggoner's My Legionnaire. Love this song and i've been listening to it for over a year now. True sign of something very good. My love of the song was reinvigorated after spending a brief spat with Brooke a few weeks ago, hearing of the many new joys in her life and then listening to her sing tunes while stroking a well-worn keyboard on a makeshift stage, right here in Cville. The song stands as a crisp reminder of that thing that is oh so difficult to put into words: hope. No matter what kind of mood i'm in, it quiets my soul.
"Ohh I would breathe the harsh night air to get to him my legionnaire
and we would flee into the woods
I always knew my boy was good"
I always knew my boy was good"
